Somebody Save Me?

Posted by Applesauce at 11:40 AM on November 10, 2004.

So many things are plaguing me right now.....our TV ad, an info-laden brochure that I can't quite fit in 8 panels, and my rusty keyboard skills that will be tested in a month's time. LOL! But the real killer is whether I should be starting the year in a new company or not. The offer's good, but I'm afraid to leave the nest....

Baby's Day Out

Posted by Applesauce at 07:24 PM on November 13, 2004.

I had a tiring day wheeling Lexy all over the mall. I bought her three dresses, 16 mini clips for her wild 10 strands, a pair of sandals and a terry robe for our trip in December. Also had to buy a gift for my friend's bridal shower tomorrow, my cousin's debut next week and an early birthday present for Mom. Of course, I couldn't resist buying a few items for myself and Ponch...the pink belt I didn't get last time, a pair of sandals, some hair accessories for my upcoming parties and the Dexter's Ego Trip VCD for Ponch.

Tomorrow, I'll be dressed in my silk nightie and robe hehe. I'm sure the girls will be a fine sight as well.

Lexy will be celebrating her first birthday next Sunday! We just need to take care of the cake and then it's time to put on our party hats. Yahew!

Bridal Shower

Posted by Applesauce at 07:08 AM on November 15, 2004.

We had a bridal shower for Gissy in Ace's house yesterday. I was even the first one to get there - after ringing the wrong house, that is. Gail couldn't make it again, so I am bequeathing my tiara to her, whether she likes it or not!

There was so much food for 7 weight-conscious girls - most of whom are part of the bridal entourage. But tell me, who in their right mind could resist a Conti's cake? After dinner, while waiting for the two gay strippers to come back (LMAO ), we made Gissy open her gifts and wear them. I was worried she wouldn't fit into the top I gave her - okay, so I'm being cross ha-ha! I wonder what Ponch will think of those miniscule undies? Hmm...now that's a thought!

As I was writing on Gissy's scrapbook, I realized we've been friends for ten years and how good we had it back then. She'll be living in the States after her wedding, just like Bambs and Rach, so I'm gonna lose one more friend. But I wish nothing but the best for my good friend. I'm just grateful for the time I spent with her.

Lexy Turns 1 Today!

Posted by Applesauce at 11:17 AM on November 22, 2004.

I can't believe a whole year has gone by! Our little angel is growing up so fast! She can now utter a few syllables like Mama, Daddy, ish (for fish) la (for hello); toddle around; switch TV channels; and hold the phone against her ear. But as much as we love her budding independence, her temper tantrums tend to be quite a handful! But she's just too damn cute for us to scold. So much for discipline. Hehehe.

Ponch and I had a blast at her party yesterday! A lot of guests came and they kept us so busy that we barely knew what was going on in the program.

Lexy was pretty crabby at first so Ponch brought her to the back of the room and she promptly fell asleep. We just had to wake her up when the mascots arrived. She loved them!

Many, many thanks to our family and friends who shared the day with us. Your presence and gifts are truly appreciated. Thank you so much for the love and support. We will always look back on this day with fond memories. And for those who couldn't make it, there's always next year.

I'm attaching some pictures. Hope you like them.
